Colours and finishes
Window colour affects both the facade and the interior. Gloss, texture and material matter alongside the colour name. Examine physical samples and have the selected finish recorded separately for the internal and external faces of the proposed windows.
Samples in daylight
A colour on a screen can look different on the product. Hold a sample beside brickwork, mortar and interior finishes and view it at different times. Consider how the colour appears across both larger and smaller visible surfaces.
Coordinate the details
Frames, opening sections, hardware and accessories may not all be available in precisely the same finish. Discuss which components remain visible and how colours will be coordinated. Have any differences identified clearly before you confirm the order.
Confirm the choice
Record the colour reference, texture, gloss and material in the quotation. Ask which combinations the local distributor can supply and how to care for them. Check whether local conditions or project agreements affect changes to the facade.
- Have I seen a physical sample?
- Which components will differ?
- Are both sides specified?
Does the same colour look identical on every material?
Texture, gloss and the underlying material can alter appearance. Compare actual samples directly beside one another.
Can I choose different colours inside and outside?
That depends on the system and finish. Request written confirmation of the available combination.
