Complete construction
Frames, glazing and its fixings work together as a single structure. We also account for the required system infills and seals when selecting the solution.
Our range / Windows
Fire-resistant windows have a verified fire-resistance classification and are intended for locations requiring protection against the spread of fire. The classification defines the properties retained by the complete assembly and how long they are maintained under test conditions. We select windows to suit the project requirements, intended application and installation conditions.

Application
The starting point is the fire-resistance classification and intended location stated in the project documentation. We check the type of separating structure, the assembly dimensions and whether the glazing should be fixed or openable. This information determines the available system solutions.
Fire-resistant glass alone does not make an ordinary window fire-rated. All components must form a complete assembly covered by the appropriate classification. We therefore agree the appearance, function and dimensions within the capabilities of the specific system.

Permitted dimensions, divisions and fittings depend on the solution's scope of application. Fixed and openable assemblies may have different capabilities.
The wall type, fixing method and perimeter sealing matter for correct installation. We check the installation conditions before accepting the order.
Before choosing
Questions before buying
No. The term ‘fire-resistant’ applies to windows and doors with a confirmed fire-resistance classification. The properties of the glass or frame alone do not establish the protection offered by the whole window. The complete construction must have an appropriate classification and be installed within its approved scope of application.
Replacing the glazing alone is not enough to achieve a fire-resistance classification. A complete system-based assembly is needed, with the correct frames, fixings, seals and fittings.
Some systems offer opening constructions. Their availability, dimensions, fittings and classification depend on the specific solution. We check these options against the project requirements.
Send a window and door schedule or drawings showing the required classification and installation location. We will check what our network can provide and prepare the scope of a quotation for the specified assembly.
Selection and quotation
Send the fire-resistance requirements, dimensions and installation location details. We will check whether the complete structure can be supplied and prepare a quotation covering the agreed delivery and installation.
