Understand the supplier
Ask who your contractual supplier is and who arranges measuring, delivery and installation. Check whom to contact about damage, missing parts or adjustment problems. A clear point of contact matters throughout the purchase and after handover.
Compare specifications
Compare profiles, glazing, hardware, dimensions and finishes on the same basis. Request documentation for the proposed products and discuss applicable local requirements with your distributor. A familiar brand name cannot replace a complete description of the window.
Record the arrangements
Have transport, unloading, installation, handover and service described in the quotation. Review the terms and ask who carries out any remedial work. Assess the total proposal, including work that you may still need to arrange separately.
